megapariah asked: Curious, what do you have against Jung? Without him, MBTI would not exist at all. Whenever I think of Keirsey, silent rage and a lust for bloodshed boil somewhere within me. However, I have nothing against Jung. His theories are the calm, serene sound of sanity in an imaginary room full of HURR DURR WHAT ARE COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS CAN I HAZ A CHEESEBURGER. My url and the reference in my bio are just prime examples of my undeniably bad sense of humor. If I could stroke Carl Jung’s face with newborn kittens, I would. And I’d weep with joy afterwards. Your type is not an indicator of your intelligence, creativity, talents or uniqueness. That’s all. Now go home and play some Scrabble. Some of these MBTI posts make me cringe.
This place taught me most of the things I know about MBTI. Great forum. Anonymous asked: are you familiar with enneagram and variant stackings? Sure. I mostly focus on MBTI, but I’ve studied them a bit, too. Enneagram more than variants. They’re both interesting, and sort of ‘personalize’ the typing experience in a very compelling way. I’m still unable to figure out whether I’m a 4w5 or a 6w5, though. |
